2006 Dominican League Players In Major League Baseball Playoffs

The Major League Baseball Postseason Championship is underway. Eighteen (18) players who competed in last winter's Dominican League are on the rosters' of the 8 MLB teams.

The New York Yankees lead the way with 4 players. The Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks and Cleveland Indians each have 3 players. The California Angels and Chicago Cubs have 2. The Colorado Rockies have 1. The Boston Red Sox are the only team in the championship with no players from last winter's Dominican League rosters.

Last winter's Dominican teams breakdown like this: Tigres del Licey - 6, Aguilas de Cibaeñas - 3, Gigantes de Cibao - 3, Leones de Escogido - 3, Azucareros del Este -2 and Estrellas del Orientales - 1.
